2017 Chicago YSA Field Day:

Volunteer Opportunity!
Registration Deadline: May 15th

Are you looking for a fun volunteer opportunity? Would you enjoy leading and playing field day games with children from local Chicago elementary schools? Meet other local #Buckeyealum as we represent #OhioState at the 6th Annual Chicago YSA Field Day event!

In cooperation with all 14 Big Ten alumni associations of the greater#Chicago area, Chicago Youth Sports Alliance is sponsoring a one-day sports and fitness experience for 4th-6th graders from underserved communities in Chicago. Over 350 students from 14 local elementary schools will attend the event.

The students will be paired with an alumni group for the day and will rotate through 14 different activity stations run by the alumni associations. The children will have the opportunity to participate in athletic based games, hear from a special guest speaker, and gain exposure to the #BigTen universities.

As a volunteer, you will help run the water balloon toss, motivate and encourage the students, and make a positive impact on the youth of Chicago!

Volunteers will receive a 2017 Chicago YSA Field Day t-shirt in our school’s colors, so make sure to register by May 15 and select your t-shirt size.
